This airport is less popular than the airport in the south of the island. This is mainly used for inter island travel and flights to the main land. From the airport to La Laguna is about 12 km or to the south airport it is 143 km.

Aeroporto Tenerife Sud (Reina Sofia)

The airport is located on the southeast corner of the island close to the main tourist areas. From the airport to Los Cristianos it is about 38 km or about 40 km to Playa de Las Americas. If you wish to travel from the south airport to Puerto de la Cruz then this is about 180km, so it would be better to go to the north airport.
